Willow Smith gets butterflies before performing

Willow Smith admits she gets “butterflies” when she performs on stage. The 10-year-old daughter of actors Will and Jada Pinkett Smith — who shot to fame with her single Whip My Hair — feels nervous before she sings live.

“I wouldn’t say [I’m] unsure… I would say I get the butterflies,” she said.

“I’m like ‘What if I mess up on stage’ or ‘What if I fall and I drop the mic or something’.”

Willow recently insisted she isn’t spoiled and won’t do anything without her mom’s permission.

“I can’t do whatever I want,” she said.

“Mommy has to say it’s okay.

“Mommy and Daddy inspired me to be a performer.

“I get my flow from Daddy, my singing ability from Mommy, and the camera stuff from both. That’s just what happens when you hang out with the Smiths!”
