Rupert Grint is single and ready to mingle!

The Harry Potter star says he’s been too busy filming to find himself a girlfriend. “It’s quite hard to have a relationship because you’re busy all the time when we’re filming. The Deathly Hallows took a year and a half to finish. It kind of takes over your life, really. So, yeah, I am single,” he said.

“I suppose trusting someone to see you for yourself is kind of a little bit difficult now. You have to learn to kind of see through people a little bit more. It’s just something that I’ll have to get used to, I guess.

“It’s definitely changed my life, just being known now. People knowing my name and never really being quite invisible is something that’s quite strange. But the last 10 years have been the best half of my life so far.”

Grint recently revealed he thought it was a “good idea” to buy a hovercraft and an orange car.

“I don’t really like to blend in,” he said. “I like standing out. I can’t really deal with the money thing. But it’s nice knowing that I don’t ever have to really worry about anything.

“I’ve got a hovercraft. It’s quite strange to drive, but I have fun with it. The orange Range Rover just seemed like a good idea at the time. I don’t even think about the connection with being ginger.”

Although Rupert enjoys splashing out on unusual vehicles, the 22-year-old star admits he hasn’t used his ice cream van as often as he expected to because it is quite difficult to maneuver.

“It’s just something I’ve always wanted when I was a kid. I don’t really use it as much as I thought I would,” he said. “I used to have stock in it, but not so much now. It’s not the most practical vehicle. It’s only got one seat. It’s basically a kitchen.”
