Rachel McAdams left battered and bruised after love scenes
Rachel McAdams was left with “bumps and bruises” from the love scenes in her new movie Morning Glory. In the film, McAdams plays the role of Becky Fuller — an aspiring news producer who tries to save a failing morning show called DayBreak by getting control of its feuding, but wise anchors, played by Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton.
The Sherlock Holmes star shares a series of steamy scenes with her costar Patrick Wilson — which, she says, caused her a great deal of pain and discomfort!
“I got bumps and bruises doing the love scenes because they wanted us to be kind of tumbling as we got in the bedroom,” Rachel revealed.
“Roger, our director, thought it would work if we were rolling around. Awkward at first, like always, but this one had to be so mapped out because of the kind of comic moves that Patrick and I do that there was more laughing than any kind of embarrassment.”
Rachel recently revealed how she was told to stop making stupid movies by an immigration official as she tried to enter America.
“She kicked me to the curb,” Rachel said.
“She was tough. I had pink hair at the time, and she said ‘Don’t dye your hair that color and don’t make any more stupid movies’.
“I was just glad she let me through.”
