Paul McCartney’s former publicist has hit “rock bottom” and is now sweeping the streets as part of a Government scheme for the unemployed.
54-year-old Geoff Baker — who was once the rocker’s right hand man — is also earning extra cash while he picks up the litter by charging £5 for tours of the area, under the name Lyme Littery Tours, according to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper.
“I need to make money, I’ve hit rock bottom,” said Geoff, who worked for the former Beatle for 15 years.
Baker claims he resigned from his role with Paul in 2004. But Sir Paul, 68, said he sacked him because of a drop in professional standards and described the end of their relationship as “sad”.
