Mary Hart’s ET replacement hasn’t sparked a new feud
Lara Spencer has denied reports she’s angry that Nancy O’Dell has landed the top job replacing Mary Hart on Entertainment Tonight.
The New York Post claimed Wednesday that Spencer was “fuming over the surprise decision” to give O’Dell the job.
But Spencer has spoken out to set the record straight.
“That couldn’t be further from the truth,” The Insider host told People magazine.
“There’s no feud. I have a great job. I host a show that I love and that I helped launch.
“Nancy is a really great choice. I’ve known her for years and she’s going to be a great addition to the team. There’s nothing but love — and I mean that.
“I understand the speculation, but I am right where I want to be,” Spencer says. “I have been very much in the loop and on board and really happy right where I am.”
