Pete Wentz: Jessica Simpson in love with Eric Johnston

Jessica Simpson is a woman in love — according to her brother-in-law Pete Wentz. Wentz, who’s married to Jessica’s sister Ashlee, says the singer/actress has fallen hard and fast for boyfriend Eric Johnston.

“He’s a really smart guy, and Jessica really loves him,” Pete told People magazine.

“I think it’s wonderful that when we play tennis, he does not absolutely slay me.

“No, but he’s wickedly good at tennis.”

Jessica has previously praised Eric for “bringing out the light” in her.

“He definitely makes me very happy,” she said.

“He brings out a lot of light in me and makes me very comfortable being who I am. It’s nice to be with somebody who praises you for the right reasons.”
