Love Island’s Laura sets sights on Paul after Jack dumping

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Laura Anderson and Alexandra Cane are set to compete for the affections of Paul Knops in a new love triangle.
The 29-year-old air hostess and the 27-year-old make-up artist will go head-to-head in a bid to recouple up with the 31-year-old carpenter after they were given the brush off by Jack Fowler and Alex George respectively – and Alexandra will waste no time by saying she wants to kiss the hunk.
In tonight’s (18.07.18) episode, Alexandra pulls Paul for a chat and tells him: “Putting my cards on the table, I didn’t realise I’d fancy you as much as I do. I don’t want to see you with somebody else.”
He replies: “I’m loving getting to know you, it’s nice. We do have a lot in common. What I do love about you is you have such a calm aura around you and it’s really nice and it’s attractive.”
She then says: “I’d love to kiss you…”
Earlier in the episode, Paul heads for a chat with Laura and she expresses an interest in him.
She says: “I feel like you’re really interesting, I feel like I could chat to you all day.”
He replies: “It’s a likewise thing. You are definitely someone who is compatible with me.”
Laura adds: “I know I could speak to you about anything but you are still flirty which is nice.”
The pair’s chat comes after they hint at a possible recoupling with each other, with Laura admitting he is more like her than Jack was.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, she says: “I feel like there is so much to talk about with Paul. I could sit there all day and chat to him. He is really interesting. He is a lot more like me that Jack was.”
Paul explains: “Laura is a very easy person to talk to. I can tell she has a good sense of humour and that’s one of the most important things a girl can have.
“The more I talk to her the more I am attracted to her. She is a good looking girl and I can definitely see something happening with her.”
As well as dominating many an office conversation, ‘Love Island’ is also having a positive impact on plastic pollution.
That’s according to new research from SodaStream, who have found 15 per cent of 18-24-year-olds to pick up a reusable water bottle in place of a single-use plastic bottle after watching Islanders drink from their reusable water bottles.
Brits now also think that using plastic in public is less socially unacceptable (30 per cent) than a public display of affection (17 per cent).
‘Love Island’ continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
