Eva Longoria Parker facing lawsuit over car crash
Eva Longoria Parker faces a lawsuit from a driver who claims she drove into his car in Los Angeles.
The Desperate Housewives actress was involved in a minor accident on Los Angeles’ Hollywood Boulevard last Wednesday, with driver Roman Gaparyan insisting she is entirely at fault for the crash, claiming the brunette beauty made a “sudden turn” and crashed into his stationary car.
Roman’s lawyer Sanjay Sobti claims Eva rapidly turned the middle lane and smashed into the car, crossing the median and nearly hitting another driver.
He also alleges an eye witnesses told him Longoria’s eyes “were red and bloodshot”.
Nobody was taken to hospital after the crash on the city’s Hollywood Boulevard, and it is presently under investigation by traffic officers.
Eva said she was “fine” but a “little sore” following the accident, while Sanjay said his client had suffered back and neck pain, severe headaches, anxiety and blood pressure complications following the accident and that he would file a civil suit against the actress this week.
However, law enforcement sources told gossip website TMZ that the other driver had stopped suddenly and Eva was unable to avoid impact with the vehicle.
Eva has yet to make official comment on the situation.
It is believed Eva — who is married to basketball player Tony Parker — had been at her restaurant Beso before the accident happened.
