Aly Michalka, sister aren´t rivals!

Aly Michalka insists there’s no sibling rivalry between herself and her sister AJ. The Hellcats star admits the pair often go up each other for the same part — but is adamant she and AJ get along famously.

“We go out for the same parts every once in awhile, and that we kind of laugh about because we’re completely different people,” she said.

“Even if [one of us did land it], I think we would be super supportive of each other, because if I want anybody else to book a role that’s not me, I want it to be AJ.”

Aly recently insisted she didn’t choose to become an actress because she wanted to be rich and famous.

“As I got older, I just became more passionate about the art,” she said. “Writing songs. Performing. Doing good quality work as an actor. I’m not interested in artistic pursuits for money or fame or accolades. I just want to make art that will hopefully make people feel inspired.”
