Rachel Bilson’s tricky co-parenting

OHMYGOSSIP — Rachel Bilson finds it “tricky” to co-parent with Hayden Christensen.
The 36-year-old actress admits the former couple are still figuring out the best way to parent their three-year-old daughter Briar Rose.
She told People magazine: “Being a mom is number one for me and it always will be … Anything I choose to do for work has to be something I really want. We’re still kind of trying to figure it out … It’s a tricky one. And I don’t know that there is any right way, necessarily.
“We say Mommy has a house and Daddy has a house but she’s pretty young to have an in-depth conversation. Most important for me is that Briar is okay and secure and stable. No matter what I’m dealing with or how much it hurts or how much anger there is, it’s just about her. Briar needs to feel loved from the people she loves the most.”
Meanwhile, Rachel previously opened up about how her life has changed since she became a mother.
She shared: “Its not about travelling, she’s already a pro on an airplane. She’ll say, ‘It’s time to put up my tray!’ It’s the actual time that the work takes that affects my choices now.
“My me time is ‘we time’ now. It’s always about her. It’s not about lying out and watching a movie anymore. Those days are gone! But I’m happy with the new version.”
Rachel and Hayden dated for 10 years after meeting on the set of science fiction movie ‘Jumper’.
