Jesse Eisenberg spent 14 hours a day researching movie role
Jesse Eisenberg likes to come prepared! The actor says he spent 14 hours a day researching his role in new movie The Social Network, in which he plays Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
Eisenberg , 26, sought every video and audio clip of Zuckerberg he could find. “My job was to spend six months, 14 hours a day, defending my character,” he told the Houston Chronicle.
“It’s impossible for me to look at a character and say he’s good or bad. We don’t look at ourselves like that. I was still trying to figure out who this character was compared to six months later, when I’d played him for a while.”
Meanwhile, Jesse is gearing up to film Zombieland 2, the sequel to last year’s hit.
“The worlds are certainly different, but the approach is pretty much the same,” he says.
“You treat everything as emotionally honest as possible. It sounds pretentious, but it works.”
