Esai Morales welcomes first child

The Caprica star’s girlfriend, Elvimar Silva, gave birth to daughter Mariana Oliveira Morales on Friday, Sept. 24 in Los Angeles, according to People magazine.

“I can’t think of another time in my life that I’ve been happier than now,”  said Morales, 47.

“I know it sounds so cliché but we feel incredibly blessed!”
