Sontelle disses Christina Aguilera

Shontelle is hating on Christina Aguilera! The singer says Aguilera “lost her mojo” with her recent comeback album Bionic.

“I feel like Christina lost her mojo,” she said.

“But every artist goes through that. veryone has that album that just didn’t work, like, everyone.”

Meanwhile, Shontelle — whose debut LP Shontelligence peaked at number 147 on the UK album chart — claims it’s harder than ever for new artists to achieve worldwide success.

“It’s a tough time for a new artist,” she said.

“I mean, established artists aren’t selling albums, so you’re not likely to sell a lot of albums if your single hasn’t been top five. Even so, it is still not really enough time for fans to really ‘buy’ your music.

“I feel like it takes time as an artist to really find yourself and develop your sound and figure out what people want. Sometimes it’s more challenging than you think.”
