Lindsay Lohan fails random drugs test

Lindsay Lohan has failed a random drug test. The star — who was released from rehab Aug. 24 after serving nearly two weeks in jail for a DUI case — reportedly tested positive for cocaine and is now facing 30 days in jail, leaving her family and friends terrified about what is going to happen next.

“This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences,” Lohan wrote on her Twitter page, adding that she’s “keeping my faith” and remains “hopeful.”

“Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night,” she writes. “I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.”

Meanwhile, a source told Pop Eater than Lohan “cannot believe this is happening”.

“It’s like she learned nothing from her time in prison and rehab. Now we’re all terrified that she could go back to jail,” an insider said.

“If anyone around Lindsay was in denial, that has all changed now.

“People suffering from addiction need constant help and not everyone around Lindsay admitted she had a problem. She was staying out late in LA as soon as she left rehab and while in New York this past Saturday night, she was seen out at The Boom Boom Room with a hoard of girls until 2:15 am.

“Everyone was rooting for her to bounce back… to be better than ever.

“Now it feels like a kick in the teeth. I’m sure no one is going to want to have anything to do with her. I bet NBC pulls its offer to host SNL.”
