Carly Simon has spent the summer nursing a broken foot

The You’re So Vain hitmaker apparently injured herself after stepping off a curb in Boston and has spend the past few weeks at her home in Martha’s Vineyard.

“She stepped off a curb in Boston, and her foot just shattered,” a source told New York Post gossip column Page Six.

“Thank God her limo driver was there to help her out and take her to the hospital.”

Simon’s pal, celebrity astrologer Karen Thorne, has been keeping the star company.

“They listened to her latest album and hung out with Rose Styron,” said the source. The album is said to be coming out this fall.
