Sarah Palin forced Levi Johnston to apologize

Sarah Palin forced Levi Johnston to issue a public mea culpa — he has claimed. Levi — who dated Sarah’s daughter Bristol — said last month that he was remorseful about the comments he made about the former Vice-Presidential candidate.

“Last year,” he said at the time, “after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true. I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize.”

Johnston — who is running for Mayor of his home town of Wasilla — says he now wishes he never said sorry.

“The only thing I wish I wouldn’t have done is to put out that apology ’cause it kind of makes me sound like a liar,” he said.

“And I’ve never lied about anything. So that’s probably the only thing. The rest of the stuff I can live with.”
