Kanye West to release a new song every week
Kayne West is planning to release one song every week until Christmas. The Stronger rapper took to his Twitter account Monday to announce his plans to drop a new track every Friday in the lead-up to Christmas Day.
“I know y’all need the music so I’m dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas,” he said.
“It may be my song, it may be a new Jay (Z) song etc. I’m calling it good Fridays. Y’all know every Friday y’all gone have a new joint from our family. We look at the game completely different now.
“It’s about the fans. No more holding back. That’s why I dropped See Me Now… It wasn’t about me, it was about the summer, the BBQs etc.”
Kanye recently revealed he has stopped swearing in public in the hope it’ll help him become a perfect gentleman.
“That’s the Rosewood mentality, like affluence, like not cursing out in public, pulling out chairs for your lady, opening up doors. That’s where I’m at,” he said.
“It’s ill because I’m at this really good emotional, great place in my life, and they’re always saying in hip-hop that you have to be in a dark place to make great hip-hop.
“I feel like I rap better than I’ve ever rapped at this point. I’m writing raps and I don’t even realize how positive they are. They just sound like regular good negative raps.”
