Neil Patrick Harris is going to become a dad to twins

The actor — who recently announced he’s going to become a dad to twins — is expecting a boy and a girl with longtime partner David Burtka this October, according to E! News.

The How I Met Your Mother star and Burtka used a surrogate. They’ll become parents this October.

Sources say the couple have already made plans for a baby shower.

Star magazine reported last year that Burtka and Harris — who have been together for roughly six years — had visited a surrogacy agency in L.A. to get the ball rolling on expanding their family.

Harris has confirmed the news, tweeting, “So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall. We’re super excited/nervous/thrilled.”
