Miranda Kerr will juggle career with motherhood
Miranda Kerr doesn’t worry about motherhood interfering with her career. The Australian Victoria’s Secret model — who is widely rumored to be expecting her first child with new husband Orlando Bloom — is full of admiration for the way other catwalk beauties juggle work and family life and hopes she could do both with similar ease.
“I’ve always been open about wanting to be a mother one day, and I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad,” she said.
“I think having children and pregnancy is a part of life. I look at how models like Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio have done it and made it a part of their lives.”
Miranda and Orlando married in an “intimate” secret ceremony last month, and though the 27-year-old beauty doesn’t want to be drawn on the details of her nuptials, she admits it was “exactly” what she had wanted for her big day.
“Our wedding was exactly what we both hoped for and it turned out as planned in every way,” she said.
We always intended for the wedding to be a private and intimate occasion and we haven’t shared any details as it’s something we’d like to keep as our special secret.”
Though Miranda has refused to confirm her pregnancy, recent questions she has raised have further fueled rumors she is expecting a baby.
The fashion director a recent photo shoot with her revealed, “Miranda asked me about stretch marks and had lots of questions about being pregnant.”
