OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Markle is “thrilled” to make her first public outing as Prince Harry’s fiancée.
The 36-year-old actress accompanied the 33-year-old royal in Nottingham on Friday (01.12.17), where they made their first joint appearance as an engaged couple.
And the brunette beauty was honoured to be in the area and visiting Nottingham World Aids Day charity fair.
Speaking to Alison Hammond, who was at the venue reporting live for ‘This Morning’, the former ‘Suits’ star said: “I’m so happy it’s just a thrill to be here.”
The television presenter swiftly passed on her congratulations to Meghan, who announced her and Harry were taking their romance to the next step and they will be tying the knot in 2018 earlier this week, and Meghan was thankful for the well wishes.
She added: “Thank you so much.”
However, Prince Harry “swerved” speaking to the 42-year-old.
Alison called out for Harry’s attention, she said: “Harry come and get warmed up by me
“You’re live on ‘This Morning.'”
But he carried on walking.
Speaking about the snub, Eamonn Holmes said: “[Alison] frightened the life out of him.”
Alison was not fazed by Harry avoiding speaking to her because she has claimed she was “touched” by the red head.
She said: “He touched me.”
Alison continued to praise Meghan for her appearance, and she hailed the star for being “so professional” during the visit.
Alison said: “She’s got a lovely handbag.
“She is so professional. She is working the crowds.
“That was so much fun, she is beautiful.”
During Harry and Meghan’s visit they will not only visit the fair, which will be hosted by Terrence Higgins, before making their way to a nearby school where they will meet with the head teachers of the institution.
The soon-to-be husband and wife will go on to watch a “hip hopera” at Nottingham Academy, where they will continue to meet with students.
