Sam Worthington to star in Mad Max remake?

Sam Worthington is reportedly set to star in a Mad Max remake. Insiders say the Aussie Avatar star would take on the role originally made famous by Mel Gibson.

“The idea has always been to pick up the story of Mad Max with a sequel but things look to have changed now,” a source said.

“The most attractive idea now is to remake the original Mad Max with a new cast. Sam is top of the list to play Mel’s road warrior role and he’s already expressed an interest.”
