Elle Macpherson: Britain’s Next Top Model will be fun
Elle Macpherson has revealed that she is hoping to appear “neutral” and “light-spirited” in her new role as host of Britain’s Next Top Model. The star signed up to present the Living reality show earlier this year, taking over from Lisa Snowdon in the job.
Speaking to Sky magazine about the new series, Macpherson commented: “The show has a fantastic following and loyal fan base and I hope that the team and I can deliver a uniquely British, fun, professional, slick show.”
She continued: “I hope to be a neutral and informative mentor. I believe the show should be about the girls. I want to follow the girls, see their amazing journey and watch them blossom.”
Julien MacDonald OBE, Grace Woodward and Charley Speed are to appear on the judging panel when the programme returns to Living on July 5.
Macpherson said: “We are interested in sharing our insights and yet keeping it light-spirited. I’m hoping we’ll nurture the contestants into becoming something they never expected they could be.”
