Ne-Yo expecting first child

Ne-Yo has announced that he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Monyetta Shaw.

The singer told Ebony that he recently flew home to Atlanta in order to be present at Shaw’s first ultrasound.

“I am 30 and I do have my first child on the way, and I’m very, very, very excited about that,” he said.

“It’s a New Year’s baby and I’m just in a really good place right now.”

Ne-Yo will release his new album Libra Scale in September.
