Adam Sandler: It’s no reunion with Spade, Rock
Adam Sandler has admitted that it is not much of a reunion co-starring with David Spade, Rob Schneider and Chris Rock because they visit each other often. The Grown Ups star has insisted that if he did have a reunion with his pals, it would be similar to one in his new comedy.
The 43-year-old told Teen Hollywood: “I would like to do this sort of reunion if I was having one, hanging out at a house and do fun stuff on a lake. That’s a good place for it.
“In real life it’s not much of a reunion [between Adam, David Spade, Rob Schneider and more] because we see each other enough. It’s not like this gang hasn’t seen each other in thirty years. We see each other a lot and in fact I see my friends from growing up a lot. There’s no reunions in my life. I see everybody too much.”
As for visiting his high school friends, Sandler added: “Every time I go back to New Hampshire to see my family I see my buddies. They hear I’m in town and they show up to the house and Chris Rock, when he’s in LA I see him and I see Kevin [James] all the time. I see Spade whenever I can and [Rob] Schneider I see a lot, too.”
