Mark Charnock wants to play Spiderman

Emmerdale star Mark Charnock has reportedly revealed that he would love to play the role of Spiderman.

The actor, who plays Marlon Dingle in the ITV1 soap, said that it is his dream role and admitted that he would consider leaving Emmerdale to play the superhero.

Speaking to Soap magazine, he said: “I think they are due a really, really tall Spiderman. They’d probably have to cut the feet out of the suit, though!

He added: “I really love Emmerdale and playing Marlon as they always write such brilliant scripts for me. I get to do comedy – like when Marlon is with Paddy – and have an emotional life, with Rhona at the moment.”
