Mahesh Manjkerar: I can’t say no to Salman Khan

Mahesh Manjkerar has admitted that he couldn’t turn down Salman Khan’s plea for him to start acting again. The director, known for playing villains on the other side of the camera, will be appearing alongside Khan in the forthcoming Ready, Real Bollywood has reported.

Manjrerar had said that he would bow out of Bollywood with his last project Daagang.

Speaking to the site, he said: “Salman said you have to do it. I know, I decided I won’t be acting any more.

“But you can’t say no to Salman. He said, ‘You’re in Ready and you’re part of my family in the film’.”

He added that he had no idea what the role would involve, except that it would be positive “for a change”.
