Stephen Moyer proud of bisexual fiancee
Stephen Moyer is “proud” his fiancee is bisexual. The ‘True Blood’ actor wasn’t shocked when Anna Paquin recently spoke about her sexuality, because she had been honest with him from the very beginning of their romance.
He said: “I’ve never been in a relationship before in which, literally within the first three days, all the cards were laid out. It wasn’t something that was kept from me.
“I condone what she has done 100 percent, and it’s her business to talk about it, not mine. It doesn’t change anything. I’m proud of who she is.”
The 40-year-old actor – who plays vampire Bill Compton opposite Anna’s mind-reading Sookie Stackhouse in the US drama – claims his relationship with the 27-year-old star works well because they are always honest with one another.
He told Playboy magazine: “She doesn’t pull punches. I’ll take 74,000 words to express an emotion because I fear hurting someone’s feelings. Anna will do it in three words. But we trust each other so implicitly that there’s never anything hurtful; it always comes from a loving place.
“With Anna it’s just about pure trust, on camera and off. I have never trusted anybody like I trust Anna.”
Though the couple – who started dating after meeting on the set of ‘True Blood’ in 2007 – work together, they used to rely on internet telephone and video calls to communicate in the early days of their romance when they were filming apart.
Stephen added: “I wish I had bought shares in Skype, because we Skyped every night for three or four hours.
“I felt as though part of me had been removed when Anna and I were apart.”
