N-Dubz star’s police confession
N-Dubz’s Dappy has confessed to giving police incorrect information. The rapper – real name Costas Dinos Contostavlos – admitted in a new documentary that he never tells officers his real name and address if he is ever stopped and searched.
Speaking on `Being N-Dubz – which airs in the UK next week – he said: “Look at the feds – they used to be a big problem to us back in the day. These lot used to chase us anywhere we used to go. They still stop and search us, but you know what – do your job.
“Up to this day we still give the wrong name and address.”
The ‘Number One’ star also admitted to never paying train fares, adding: “For the first time we’re actually gonna pay and do this properly.”
While Dappy has confessed to bad behaviour, his bandmate and cousin Tulisa Contostavlos recently admitted she wants to be regarded as a good role model.
She said: “I want to be a good role model to girls. I want to show them that anything is possible and bring back morals that seem to have been forgotten.”
