Keith Urban grateful for Kidman genes
Keith Urban is glad his daughter has wife Nicole Kidman’s legs. The country singer – who married the ‘Moulin Rouge’ actress in 2006 and became a father to Sunday Rose in July 2008 – thinks their first child is fortunate to have inherited her mother’s enviable long pins rather than his.
He said: “I think she’s a combination of both of us so far. But she got my wife’s legs, which is very lucky for her. She sure didn’t deserve mine.”
The 42-year-old star says he is constantly amazed by Sunday Rose and loves being a father to her.
Speaking about fatherhood, he told People magazine: “It’s always something new, that’s what I love about it. And maybe other dads are different, but for me, it keeps coming on.
“I’m like, ‘Oh my God, that’s my daughter.’ It’s beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I feel very grateful for it.”
Keith also hinted the couple may add to the family in the near future but aren’t expecting just yet.
When asked if they would be trying for another baby, Keith replied: “I’m not, NOT trying. So we’ll see.”
Nicole has two adopted children – Isabella, 17, and 15-year-old Connor – with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
