Emily Blunt’s Bouwer wedding dress?
Emily Blunt’s wedding dress may be designed by Marc Bouwer. The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ actress is set to tie the knot with fiance John Krasinski later this year and has so far refused to reveal who will create her gown, but Marc has hinted he may be the man for the job.
He said: “She really likes the way my dresses fit her.
“In her wedding dress I would like to see something with a lot of action on the back, but a really slim shape. I would do amazing arrangements with gorgeous flowers right here in the lower-back area.
“I like taffeta. The shine has a bit of a gold iridescence to it, very slight just so that it adds a little bit of warmth to it.”
Marc also gave advice on what accessories Emily should wear on her big day, saying: “I always love a long simple earring. I know you’re not supposed to wear pearls at a wedding, so maybe throw in aquamarine – a hint of colour. Something borrowed, something blue – there you go!”
Although Marc is refusing to say whether he has been given the job, he admits it would be a dream come true.
He told hollywoodlife.com: “This is just a designer’s dream to do something like that. Not that I’m saying I’m doing it.”
