Jennifer Metcalfe pregnant

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Metcalfe is reportedly pregnant.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actress and her partner, former ‘Geordie Shore’ star Greg Lake – who she has been dating for four years – are said to be thrilled to be welcoming their first child into the world later this year.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Jen and Greg are delighted. They have told their friends and family, who are chuffed too.”
The happy news comes after one of Jennifer’s most recent major ‘Hollyoaks’ storylines was the tragic stillbirth of her character Mercedes McQueen’s baby son Gabriel.
The source added: “Obviously after her difficult time filming her last pregnancy scenes on ‘Hollyoaks’ this is a breath of fresh air for Jen.
“It’s going to be an exciting rest of the year for her.”
The brunette beauty previously admitted the hard-hitting plot was “really hard” to film and she couldn’t help but break down when she received her scripts for the first time.
Asked about the challenges of playing Mercedes, Jennifer recalled the stillbirth and the writer who penned the story from firsthand experience and said: “The writer had been through a similar experience herself. I read all the five episodes together on my couch. I hadn’t cried in two years, cut to two hours later I’m just this blubbering mess and I have this lump in my throat. It was so touching and so real.
“We worked together with lots of amazing charities that brought some realism to the story. It was really difficult to film and really challenging, but also so rewarding.”
