Dingo’s wife admits to open marriage

The wife of Ernie Dingo has revealed that they have an open marriage.

Sally Dingo, who has been married to the Australian film and television star for 21 years, said that they have an arrangement by which they support each other but can enjoy relationships with other people.

Sally told “Woman’s Day” magazine that they made the agreement when they realised they were growing apart. She said: “We needed to find a way to continue, so that we all would be cared for.

“Ernie and I have an arrangement that we regard as adult and responsible, and it is without tension. We are great friends who continue to support each other.”

Sally chose to reveal the nature of their marriage after Ernie was accused of having multiple affairs over the past few years, saying: “It has become apparent the workings of our private life needed to be revealed. I also wanted to speak in Ernie’s defence.”

The Dingos are currently raising their 16-year-old daughter Wilara and his 15-year-old grandson Jurra together.
