Harry Potter stars emotional at series end
The stars of the Harry Potter franchise have expressed sadness at nearing the end of shooting on the final film. Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the titular role, admitted that he is “devastated” to be ending his run on the series in just two weeks’ time, reports People.
“There is nothing I watch without it triggering a series of memories. Everything [about the films] is so linked to my life. At the same time, it is exciting. It is the end,” he said.
“I hope I can find some kind of employment after this. Otherwise, I know panto, I suppose.”
Co-star Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) was also sentimental, and insisted that she will be taking a long break after finishing her final scenes. “I feel like someone is dying,” she said. “This kind of love and recognition is just incredible. It is also really emotional for me. I am proud.”
