Usher holds onto Billboard No 1

Usher has retained his lead on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 with ‘OMG’. The song is the R&B star’s ninth US number one and has spent a combined total of four weeks at the top spot, after being temporarily knocked off a fortnight ago by Eminem’s ‘Not Afraid’.

Meanwhile, rapper B.o.B manages to keep two singles in the top five, with ‘Airplanes’ climbing a place to two and ‘Nothin’ On You’ dropping one to five.

Lady GaGa’s ‘Alejandro’ reaches a new peak on the chart, leaping from eight to six, and Miley Cyrus debuts in the top ten with her new single ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ at number eight.

Elsewhere in the chart, La Roux’s ‘Bulletproof’ vaults from 19 to 14, and Muse debut at 77 with ‘Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)’. Christina Aguilera also enters the chart at 79 with her new single ‘WooHoo’, which features Nicki Minaj.
