Sharon Osbourne: Cheryl should move on

Sharon Osbourne has criticised her X Factor replacement Cheryl Cole for pretending to be a “flashy perfect couple” with husband Ashley. She said that she thinks Cheryl should move on from her marriage breakdown.

Osbourne, who judged on the first four series of the talent show, told the Daily Star that Cole’s life as England’s sweetheart is “not exactly a tragedy”.

She said: “If they stopped the flashy perfect couple bulls**t then the relationship might stand a chance. But if it’s all going to always be about how fabulous we are then it’s fairy tale nonsense. It’s not real life.”

Cheryl separated from footballer Ashley in February after he was accused of cheating with five women.
