Taylor Swift will receive a top prize from the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame next month. The singer, 20, will be handed the Hal David Starlight Award at a ceremony held on June 17 in New York City, reports The Huffington Post.
Swift, whose 2008 album Fearless won the Grammy for ‘Album Of The Year’, is credited with full or partial writing credits for every track on both of her multi-platinum selling releases.
Other artists will also be honoured at the ceremony, including Phil Collins and Leonard Cohen.
