Donald Trump: “Bret Michaels is competitive guy”
Donald Trump has said that he is hoping Bret Michaels will return for the “Celebrity Apprentice” finale. The Poison frontman was hospitalised last month after suffering a brain haemorrhage. He is currently undergoing rehabilitative physiotherapy and is expected to make a full recovery.
Speaking on Ryan Seacrest‘s KISS-FM show, Donald Trump said: “He’s just doing really much better. Fifty percent of the time you don’t even make it to the hospital with that, and he’s doing really better.
“Hopefully we’ll have him on the show. He’s trying. He’s the most competitive guy – he’s trying.”
Trump continued to say: “He’s just amazing. Most people don’t make it when that happens, that’s an explosion in the brain. That’s a tough deal. Not only did he make it, but he’s really recovering, so hopefully he can be on the finale.”
Michaels recently claimed that he feels “lucky to be alive”, and suggested that he has been given a “second chance” in life.
