Kerry Katona: “I am waiting for Simon Cowell to call”

Kerry Katona has put herself forward to replace Dannii Minogue on the X Factor judging panel. The former Atomic Kitten star claimed that she is currently planning a pop comeback and argued that the ITV1 talent show would be the perfect stage for her to relaunch her career.

“I am waiting for Simon Cowell to ask me to join The X Factor,” Katona told the Daily Star. “I think I’d be an amazing judge. I am thinking about starting my pop career again, so The X Factor could be the perfect stage for that too.”

Speaking about her recent weight loss and battle with drug addiction, Kerry said: “I am still just concentrating on each day at a time at the moment and on getting my face back out there. I would love to do a fitness video. A lot of people make them and then relapse but that’s not going to happen to me. I’m going to stay looking this good.”
