Annie Lennox: I don’t like X Factor and BGT

Annie Lennox (55) has slammed “The X Factor” and “Britain’s Got Talent”.

The singer, who is best known for her work with Dave Stewart in Eurythmics, insisted that she would never consider being involved in any musical talent show.

Annie Lennox told the Daily Mail: “I think those types of shows are dangerous and cruel – they’ll have a long-lasting effect on how people look at music.

“I understand their appeal, but there’s no chance I’d ever be a judge. You have a panel of people basically giving you the thumbs up or down, and there is so much more to music than that.”
