Trey Songz: I’ve learned from Jay-Z

Trey Songz has revealed that he has learned many lessons from Jay-Z. The R&B singer, who is currently on the road with the rap superstar for his “Blueprint III” tour, said that Jay-Z has taught him how to manage the crowd at stadiums.

Speaking to SuckerFree Sundays, Songz explained: “He’s an excellent showman. He’s gotten to the point where he has so many hits that he could just put the mic out on certain songs. He raps with me after shows and we talk about certain areas.

“I’ve learned to have a little more crowd control. Playing arenas every night is different than what I’m used to. This is the biggest tour of my life, so I’ve learned how to demand the crowd.”
