“Project Runway” puts out a casting call to aspiring designers

Attention all designers who’ve yet to find fortune and fame in the industry: Project Runway wants you! Well,… the reality show wants you to submit your portfolio for consideration.

Project Runway is casting for its eighth season. The deadline for entry is April 22! To apply, you have to be 21-year-old or older & have earned less than $100,000 in gross sales per year as a fashion designer.

Among the materials requested are two photos of yourself (a close-up and a full body), a virtual portfolio of your work & images of your patterns (if you work from them), also sketches. 

The invite-only auditions for the next season “Project Runway” will take place between April 26 & May 21. If you are selected for closer inspection, you will be invited to an audition that’s geographically closest to you.
