Ricki-Lee Coulter “hurt” by driving charges
Ricki-Lee Coulter, a New Zealand-born Australian pop/R&B singer, radio presenter and celebrity, has said that being pulled over by the police created a huge problem for her.
The 24-year-old Australian singer, who was charged with driving an unregistered and uninsured car last week, said that she has to take the responsibility for her own mistake despite originally blaming the misdemeanour on somebody else.
Coulter told that she was humiliated and embarrassed by the incident. “Just a bit of time, checking myself could have prevented this huge problem that is now hanging over me. When someone lends you a car you just trust that it is okay to drive. It hurt quite a lot when the news broke but I take the responsibility, I should have checked. This has been a big blow to my confidence,” she told The Daily Telegraph.
Ricki-Lee is scheduled to face the driving charges in court on April 15.
