Martha Stewart to star in “Help Me, Martha”
Martha Stewart and Mark Burnett are teaming up for a new reality series called “Help Me, Martha”, TvShark mediates.
The series, which will star Martha Stewart, will follow the home & lifestyle queen and her cast of eight experts as they help individuals tackle difficult tasks at home and work. The show will take on everything from near-disaster weddings to planning last-minute events and even overhauling a home.
The project is Stewart ‘s third project with the reality mogul. The two first worked together on “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart” & Burnett currently produces her syndicated daytime “The Martha Stewart Show”. The Martha Stewart “Apprentice” was cancelled after just one season.
“Help Me, Martha” will help tracks contestants as they ‘re helped by Stewart, who pays them a surprise visit to see what kind of mess they’re in.
“You should see their faces when Martha Stewart shows up on their doorsteps,” says Burnett. “It was clear to us that if we were going to go into people’s homes and transform their lives that we had to do it with the help of experts who are the best in the business.”
