Director Tim Burton and actress Marion Cotillard have received one of France´s highest cultural honours, Digitalspy reports.
Cotillard was made a knight in the “Order Of The Arts And Letters” by Culture Minister Frederic Mitterand. Tim Burton, who was also knighted, said: “I feel much more at home here than I do in my own country & I thank you very much.”
Previous recipients of the prestigious accolade, a “contribution to the enrichment of French culture”, include Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder and Kylie Minogue.
