Coleen Nolan: “It was a shame to lose Danny Young”

Coleen Nolan, the Dancing On Ice Friday host who finished fourth on last year´s show, has said that Gary Lucy was the weakest performer on this week´s “Dancing On Ice”. She also claimed that it was a shame to lose Danny Young from the programme, claiming that his acting skills “shone out”.

“I loved Danny´s routine because it was so much fun.  Danny showed how much he was improving,” she told The Mirror.

“His acting skills really shone out. Last week he was the tough guy with all his muscles and brawn on show, this time he was the cute, lovable guy. The hat let him down, not his skating.

“I thought Gary would be in the skate off because he was the weakest for me. There was no ‘Oh my God’ moment in his whole routine, and that’s not great at this stage.”

Gary Lucy, Danniella Westbrook, Kieron Richardson and Hayley Tamaddon will compete in this Sunday’s semi-final, which airs at 7.20pm on ITV1.
