Portia de Rossi: I am glad that I´m not not “American Idol” judge

Portia de Rossi has admitted that she is glad she’s not an “American Idol” judge.  According to People, the wife of Ellen DeGeneres also joked that she had a hand in getting the comedian the job.

“I was like, “Honey, that’s it. Go get another job”. I am that demanding,” Portia said.

“I am actually going to every taping of Idol because it is really fun to be there & it’s fun to support her. I’m just glad that I’m not a judge. It is hard, especially when the contestants don’t do that well because I know that she will be struggling to think of something positive to say to them.”
