Liam Gallagher (37) has explained why he snubbed his brother & former Oasis bandmate Noel at this year’s Brit Awards. He mentioned every group member minus Noel at February’s ceremony after receiving the prize of “Best Album Of 30 Years” for (What’s The Story) Morning Glory.
NME quotes Liam as saying: “I am sick of it all being about me and Noel. The last couple of months has pretty much been all about me and him so I thought it was only right to mention the other lads who played on the album and the best fans in the world.”
Gallagher also spoke about his controversial decision to throw his award into the crowd, saying: “I thought it was a nice gesture to give this to the fans. Obviously it was misinterpreted as per usual.”
