James Cameron tips “The Hurt Locker” for Oscar win

According to Showbiz Spy, James Cameron has admitted that he does not expect Avatar to win “Best Picture” at the Oscars.

James Cameron claimed that his ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow will beat him to the prize with her movie “The Hurt Locker”. “I think that while this has been a great season for “Avatar” financially, I think critically it is probably going to lean more towards “The Hurt Locker” at the Academy Awards,” he said. “That´s fine. That´s cool, too.”

He added: “I can´t lose unless it leads to one of the other films. In that case I´ll probably be a little bit more disappointed but as long as it’s Hurt Locker or Avatar then I´ll be happy.”
