Lady GaGa wins three German Echo awards

Lady GaGa has scooped three prizes at the annual “Echo Awards” in Germany. The stylish singer picked up the “Best Newcomer” and “Best International Rock/Pop Act” prizes, while her single “Poker Face” was named “Hit of the Year”.

Robbie Williams took home the “Best International Pop Artist” award & Depeche Mode were named “Best International Pop/Rock Group”.

Rock act Silbermond and hip-hop star Jan Delay were also honoured at the German Phonographic Academy´s ceremony, while Peter Fox was handed the coveted “Best Album” award for Stadtaffe.

Ke$ha, Rihanna, Robbie Williams and Sade all performed at the event, which was held in the capital Berlin.
