OHMYGOSSIP — Timothée Chalamet has been hailed a “magical star” by his ‘Wonka’ co-star Sophie Winkleman.
Lady Frederick Windsor, 43 – who is married to Lord Frederick Windsor, 44, the second cousin of King Charles and son of Prince Michael of Kent – had a minor role as The Countess in the 2023 Paul King blockbuster and she was full of praise of the 28-year-old actor.
She told WHO magazine: “It was just a really fun job.
“And Timothée is a magical star.”
Sophie relished the opportunity to play a mean character.
She said: “It’s hard playing the nice guy all the time but villains are so much fun.
“I want to play more villains.”
Sophie has also starred in shows such as ‘Peep Show’, ‘Death in Paradise’ and ‘Two and a Half Men’, and she has made the decision to keep her work UK-based as much as possible to avoid any “upheaval” for her family.
The mother-of-two – who has Maud, 10, and Isabella, eight, with her royal husband – said: “It’s quite hard because when I get a big job it’s wonderful professionally, but can be quite tough on home.
“I don’t really do work that’s not in Britain anymore because it’s too much upheaval. But even then, I can go away on location for months for filming and only come home on weekends which is quite tough on the girls and my husband, but I just couldn’t give up work, so we just make it work.”
